Hello –

This will be the last review post of the new Debt Cures 2 book from Kevin Trudeau.

If you have already not decided about whether you want to buy the book or not after the past six review posts than anything else I say won’t sway you one way or the other.

I don’t make any commissions from promoting the Debt Cures 2 book.

I do have my own copy of the book along with his new Free Money book.
What a
So with that said let’s start with chapter 21 which is about bankruptcy.

Bankruptcy can be a good option for people to try and get a fresh start — if you can get Chapter 7 bankruptcy.

Bankruptcy is not in your best interests though. The credit card companies have rigged the bankruptcy system in their favor and from all I’ve read and Debt Cures 1 and Debt Cures 2 and all the other books out there this is true.

Kevin Trudeau talks about people over age 55 being the one of the fastest growing groups filing for bankruptcy these days.

And this is kind of sad. People are supposed to be preparing for retirement instead of going through one of the worst financial crises of their lives.

He talks about why it may be for you through no fault of your own.

If you are insolvent bankruptcy may be for you. But it’s on the record for at least 10 years. Make sure you look at all the other options before you go down this route. Make sure you especially take a look at debt settlement before you decide on bankruptcy.

Chapter 22 is about free money.

This is probably everyone’s favorite chapters.

He offers a new site to learn about over $400 billion in government grants.

You answer a survey of 46 questions in 5 to 10 minutes and find out what you were eligible for.

This chapter has more sites than in the previous Debt Cures book.

He offers sites and telephone numbers to possibly save you money on your bills. There are many government assistance programs out there. They are making it easier and easier to find out about them and apply for them.

But you have to take action on this information.

Approximately 1,000,000 people get money every year from the government. You will not get any if you don’t apply.

Here is an interesting tip: you don’t like lawyers and lawsuits but they may be one source of free money from class-action lawsuits.

And it’s true because in the past I’ve actually received a very small amount of money through a class-action lawsuit, I believe it was from an Allstate insurance settlement.

Chapter 23 is more money from Uncle Sam and others.

Did you know there is over $15 billion in unclaimed money? Have you searched your name and your relatives? I found some money was owed to me. Maybe there is some out there for you.

Trudeau has several pages about tax credits available to you from the government. This is good information compiled all in one location.

You may know about the earned income credit, but do you know about the advanced earned income tax credit? You can get the money in your paycheck now instead of when you file your tax returns.

There is also free money for emergencies, this is a good tip for those unexpected emergencies.

There is some free money for students who want to travel overseas and also learn languages deemed important to national security.

This information is expanded more than the first Debt Cures book was. This is good information if you use it. It’s just another resource that makes the book a good deal.

Chapter 24 is called more breaking news.

He has some last-minute details about the evil credit card companies.

He urges you to write your people in Congress and complain about the credit card industry.

It mentions some of the new credit card Bill of Rights that goes into effect this February. This is finally some good news for us consumers.

Chapter 25 is called final cures.

This is basically a summary of the book. A recap of all the knowledge Kevin Trudeau has shared with you. This is good because you may have forgotten some things you learned. And of course he does not leave you without a final call to subscribe to the monthly Debt Cures newsletter.

Then he has a sneak peek of Kevin’s Free Money book.

He gives you a list of foundations that give free money and assistance.

Free money-saving sites.

In the appendix is listings of the statute of limitations which you can easily find online.

So that’s my reviews of the new Debt Cures 2 book.

Overall I would give it a solid B.

It has more information than the original Debt Cures book.

You can buy it online for $19.95 plus shipping and handling. It has not reached Amazon yet.

Thank you for reading my reviews. Your comments and feedback are welcome.

Have a great day,

Today will pick up on chapter 16 of Kevin Trudeau’s Debt Cures 2 which is being heavily advertised on late-night infomercials. Having unemployment at 10% doesn’t help.

Chapter 16 is called smart plays. It talks about how to be smarter at avoiding fees. This is good advice that can save you a few dollars and a lot of frustration.

He spent some time talking about overdraft charges but there’s some good news on this front as the government has stepped in and eliminated most of the bank’s ability to charge you overdraft fees unless you specifically opt in.

He then gives some sites to help find good credit cards with low fees, student credit cards, and credit cards if you have bad credit or if you want to establish credit.

He gives you a credit score range and depending on if you have excellent, good, fair, poor, or bad credit which kind of credit cards you can qualify for.

Chapter 17 is entitled foreclosures.

Kevin Trudeau said some banks lent money for homes without verifying the borrower’s income. If it seems too good to be true it probably is.

Now you get some foreclosure magic words. These magic words may give you time to pay on your mortgage and help you save your home.

He offers advice to save your home. Advice on if you should even save your home in the first place. He gives a little bit of information of how a foreclosure can affect your credit and for how long.

He spends a lot of the chapter complaining about the mortgage companies and the lenders who got us into this big financial mess in the first place.

Chapter 18 is a little more interesting as it offers information on making money from foreclosures.

He offers tips to help you profit from low-priced homes.

Again he goes off on a rant for a few pages with no practical information to put to good use.

But he does give some practical information to save you money and headaches when trying to make money with foreclosures.

In my personal experience, I have purchased a HUD home so there are deals out there just make sure to do your homework. Do not get emotionally attached to a home in overbid. I made this mistake and it cost me a few extra thousand dollars that I could’ve saved by bidding too high.

This chapter is a good introduction to foreclosures you would have to learn a lot more but this gives you an idea of what you’d have to go through if you wanted to pursue making money with foreclosures.

Chapter 19 is called make money from your home.

Three ways he talks about — pay more often on your mortgage, refinance, or renegotiate/loan modification.

Loan modification can cut your monthly mortgage payments by 40 to 60% in some cases.

Mortgage loan modification can be the lifeline to save your home, your credit, and your sanity.

Information in this chapter will more than pay for the cost of this book. If you needed a reason to buy Debt Cures 2, this one chapter alone will be more than worth it.

Moving on to chapter 20, make money from your home part two.

Kevin Trudeau offers creative ideas to make more money working from your home.

This is similar to the foreclosure chapter in that you get ideas to help you make money but not the exact step-by-step information you need. But this is just enough to get you interested in finding more details online.

He offers a few tips on how to make residual income, one of my personal favorite topics. And also about network marketing or multilevel marketing.

He offers the top 25 home-based businesses you can start.

And then he talks about getting business credit with a $1 million line of credit and saying it is a pot of gold at the end of the rainbow. But I don’t think this information needs to be included because this is probably the reason you are looking to buy Debt Cures II in the first place because you have to much debt.

I’ll stop this review of the latest Debt Cures 2 book right here and finish the rest of the review in the next post.

Overall I would recommend this book to anyone trying to get out of credit card debt. There is a lot of useful information once you get past the fluff and ranting and raving Kevin Trudeau is famous for.

The new infomercials show a price of $19.95 plus shipping and handling and I would recommend you order it online instead of ordering it over the phone so you can be sure what you’re getting and make sure you only get charged for the book and no extras or monthly fees like for his monthly Debt Cures newsletter.

Order here:

https://www.debtcures2.com/

Thank you for reading.

Your comments and feedback is always welcome.

Have a great day,

Hello –

Today, I will continue with my review of Kevin Trudeau’s new book Debt Cures 2. Last time we left off on chapter 2. Chapter 3 is a short chapter talking about the federal government and taxes and credit card companies and their fees. He mentions that credit card debt now totals about $1.5 trillion. So you’re not alone if you have problems with credit card debt. He talks about how credit card companies are today’s loansharks.

Fees and bread-and-butter of the credit card industry and the banking industry if you consider overdraft fees.

If you can get just one fee waived with this book it has paid for itself. And many people make 1 to 2 late payments a year and each one has its own $39 late fee. That’s why Discover has a card that rewards you if you just make 6 payments in a row on time.

If you make 6 to 12 payments on time you should have no problem getting a fee waived. You just have to make the call and make sure they not only waive the late fee but also do not increase your interest rate. Because it is very easy to get on a downward spiral with one late fee and a higher interest rate.

The first three chapters are just to help make you aware of the problems.

Watch your credit card statements for hidden fees or a higher APR for no reason at all.

Chapter 4 is titled highway robbery.

The credit card companies get billions in bailout money but also increased rates for a lot of customers because the credit market is difficult, but yet who were the ones who caused this mess in the first place?

The greedy credit card banks did it to themselves. They are the ones who lent the money to and with the people in the first place and now they swing the credit lending pendulum the other way and make it unaffordable to use credit.

The advice is to switch from the big banks that charge high fees and are not very friendly and go with the credit unions that still have low rate credit cards and no fee overdraft protection. You could also check out USAA bank. You do not have to be in the military to join the bank.

If you do not want to be in debt for the rest of your life you need to get out of debt and go with a bank that doesn’t kick you when you’re down.

You need a low rate interest card that does not play games with changing due dates or high fees.

Moving on to chapter 5 credit do’s and don’ts.

This is actually similar stuff to the first Debt Cures book. Basically the banks and government are bad and they are to blame for a lot of the financial problems we are facing.

Some of the advice he offers is do not pay for credit repair, do not pay for loan consolidation, do not file bankruptcy, and do not freak out.

And then he throws a plug for his Debt Cures newsletter for what to do.

You can get better results with do-it-yourself credit repair and debt consolidation. You do not need to pay someone to do it for you.

Chapter 6 is about credit scores. Yes they are very important. Yes it is good to have a good credit score. He says improving your credit score can save you $1 million over your lifetime. Or it could cost you $1 million over your lifetime if you have a bad credit score.

This is a condensed version of what was covered in the original Debt Cures book. It talks about how the credit scoring system is rigged against us and there are 88 ways to ding your score every month.

The credit reporting agencies and credit card companies don’t want glowing credit scores. They make more money with bad credit scores and people with less than perfect credit.

Increasing your credit score is directly tied to decreasing your interest rates. The better your credit score, the lower your interest rate, and the faster you can reduce your credit card balances and get out of debt.

The governments free credit report program does not include free credit scores so you have to pay for those to see what your score is unless you try one of those free credit report and score offers.

So that takes us to look at chapter 7 next time which is 30 days to improved credit. What you can take away so far is information about how bad credit card companies and government is and how the credit scoring system is rigged against you.

But like I said if you can get one late fee or over the limit fee waived then this book will pay for itself and then some and we haven’t even gone to the chapters on free money or more magic words.

Let me know what you think per share your review is of Kevin Trudeau’s debt cures they really don’t want you to know about book.

Thanks,

Hello –

I finished reading my copy of Debt Cures II and now I want to start providing reviews chapter by chapter so you can make an informed decision. If you want the super short cliff notes version: buy the book. I was very critical of the book and compared it to the original Debt Cures book and even though there is some overlap, this new book provides new and updated information that can help you save your home, find free money, and get out of debt.

So with that said let’s go into the longer version.

Kevin Trudeau says he is not an expert so why should you listen to him or what he says? How can Kevin give you ways to get out of debt if he says himself is not an expert? But what is an expert exactly? An expert is someone who knows more specialized information about a topic than most other people. And since Kevin has now written four books about getting out of debt and getting free money he has become an expert. He also has a team of researchers and writers that helped him write these books.

KT calls this book the bailout edition of Debt Cures and not a repeat of the original Debt Cures book. He talks about how the banks and credit card companies received billions of dollars in free government money but what did we get? We got higher interest rates, lower credit limits, and higher fees.

Do you want to be rich? Trudeau does and admits it early in the book. He says he wants to be rich. Selling millions of copies of his own books to desperate folks like us who want his secrets can get you there pretty quick. Somebody will say he is getting rich by scamming millions of people by hitting them with unwanted charges to their credit card or savings accounts each month.

But he says we should all want to be the same. We should all want to be debt free and wealthy.

Maybe that’s why he has Playboy models on his shows trying to get our attention to sell more of his books. It got my attention when I was flipping through the channels.

Here’s the key phrase of the book: knowledge is power.

The more you know the more you can fight back against the credit card companies, banks, mortgage lenders, and the federal government.

KT’s goal is to provide you with as much knowledge as possible or as much ammunition as possible to fight.

But you actually have to take the time to read this book and turn off the TV or YouTube or get off of Facebook for a few minutes to improve your lot in life.

“Lack of money is the root of all evil”

I would agree with the statement in the book.

KT is trying to help you have more money by paying off your debts quicker. He also wants you to make more money. It’s okay for him to make money helping you get out of debt and make more money.

Nothing he is teaching is hard or complicated. You don’t need an advanced college degree to put into use anything you learn in this book. He says all you need to do is follow the steps outlined in the chapters and you can get out of debt and start making money.

What you will get from Debt Cures 2 is a new awareness to what is going on in the lending industry and government. Your eyes will be opened to what is going on. No more will the big institutions get away with stealing your money.

There is a suggestion to buy this book for college kids so they won’t say “I wish I had known this sooner.” Anything that prepares college students for the real financial world out there is a good idea.

Trudeau then provides a few testimonials from happy customers and how they ordered the book even though there was lots of negative press and publicity about his previous books and Trudeau himself. Trudeau spins this and says he is the most hated guy in corporate America. There are plenty of customers who feel they have gotten scammed ordering his books. This is due to a lot of the backend stuff that gets sold over the phone late at night when you’re tired and not truly paying attention to what the representative is telling you.

A lot of this frustration can be avoided by ordering the book online.

So that takes care of the first two chapters of Debt Cures 2 They Really Don’t Want You to Know About.

If you cannot find something to help you save at least $30 in Debt Cures II then you are not trying hard enough. You waste so much money on other so-called necessities that buying a book like this for $30 is a no-brainer.

How much have you wasted in the past month on iTunes, iPhone apps, junk food?

This book is worth it if you use it. I give it a thumbs up. Buy it and use it.

Let me know what you think or have a review to contribute and I will post it here.

Thanks for reading.

Have a great day,
