Debt Cures 2 Review Part 6: Free Money!
Hello –
This will be the last review post of the new Debt Cures 2 book from Kevin Trudeau.
If you have already not decided about whether you want to buy the book or not after the past six review posts than anything else I say won’t sway you one way or the other.
I don’t make any commissions from promoting the Debt Cures 2 book.
I do have my own copy of the book along with his new Free Money book.
What a
So with that said let’s start with chapter 21 which is about bankruptcy.
Bankruptcy can be a good option for people to try and get a fresh start — if you can get Chapter 7 bankruptcy.
Bankruptcy is not in your best interests though. The credit card companies have rigged the bankruptcy system in their favor and from all I’ve read and Debt Cures 1 and Debt Cures 2 and all the other books out there this is true.
Kevin Trudeau talks about people over age 55 being the one of the fastest growing groups filing for bankruptcy these days.
And this is kind of sad. People are supposed to be preparing for retirement instead of going through one of the worst financial crises of their lives.
He talks about why it may be for you through no fault of your own.
If you are insolvent bankruptcy may be for you. But it’s on the record for at least 10 years. Make sure you look at all the other options before you go down this route. Make sure you especially take a look at debt settlement before you decide on bankruptcy.
Chapter 22 is about free money.
This is probably everyone’s favorite chapters.
He offers a new site to learn about over $400 billion in government grants.
You answer a survey of 46 questions in 5 to 10 minutes and find out what you were eligible for.
This chapter has more sites than in the previous Debt Cures book.
He offers sites and telephone numbers to possibly save you money on your bills. There are many government assistance programs out there. They are making it easier and easier to find out about them and apply for them.
But you have to take action on this information.
Approximately 1,000,000 people get money every year from the government. You will not get any if you don’t apply.
Here is an interesting tip: you don’t like lawyers and lawsuits but they may be one source of free money from class-action lawsuits.
And it’s true because in the past I’ve actually received a very small amount of money through a class-action lawsuit, I believe it was from an Allstate insurance settlement.
Chapter 23 is more money from Uncle Sam and others.
Did you know there is over $15 billion in unclaimed money? Have you searched your name and your relatives? I found some money was owed to me. Maybe there is some out there for you.
Trudeau has several pages about tax credits available to you from the government. This is good information compiled all in one location.
You may know about the earned income credit, but do you know about the advanced earned income tax credit? You can get the money in your paycheck now instead of when you file your tax returns.
There is also free money for emergencies, this is a good tip for those unexpected emergencies.
There is some free money for students who want to travel overseas and also learn languages deemed important to national security.
This information is expanded more than the first Debt Cures book was. This is good information if you use it. It’s just another resource that makes the book a good deal.
Chapter 24 is called more breaking news.
He has some last-minute details about the evil credit card companies.
He urges you to write your people in Congress and complain about the credit card industry.
It mentions some of the new credit card Bill of Rights that goes into effect this February. This is finally some good news for us consumers.
Chapter 25 is called final cures.
This is basically a summary of the book. A recap of all the knowledge Kevin Trudeau has shared with you. This is good because you may have forgotten some things you learned. And of course he does not leave you without a final call to subscribe to the monthly Debt Cures newsletter.
Then he has a sneak peek of Kevin’s Free Money book.
He gives you a list of foundations that give free money and assistance.
Free money-saving sites.
In the appendix is listings of the statute of limitations which you can easily find online.
So that’s my reviews of the new Debt Cures 2 book.
Overall I would give it a solid B.
It has more information than the original Debt Cures book.
You can buy it online for $19.95 plus shipping and handling. It has not reached Amazon yet.
Thank you for reading my reviews. Your comments and feedback are welcome.
Have a great day,
– Adam
